Cut, Weld, and Clean Various Metals with Ease To ensure optimal performance, different gases are recommended for each process: Welding: Use nitrogen or argon (purity ≥99.99%) for most metals. Welding pressure should be 0.1–0.2 MPa, with a gas flow of 15–30 L/min. Argon is essential when welding titanium alloys. Cutting: You can use compressed air, nitrogen, argon, or oxygen. When using the xTool air compressor and refrigerated dryer together with the SaveGas™ Nozzle, you’ll get burr-free cuts at 0.6 MPa for: Alternatively, nitrogen or argon at 1.2 MPa achieves the same burr-free precision.
