FIRST BARREL: WHISKY OAK Maturation of the SCOTCH MALT constituent for 15 years in traditional AMERICAN OAK BARRELS in SCOTLAND mellows the maturing spirit and imparts a rich taste with warming layers of wood, vanilla and coconut notes. SECOND BARREL: OLOROSO SHERRY OAK Further maturation for four years in EUROPEAN OAK OLOROSO SHERRY BARRELS in NEPAL adds a fruity, nutty and full-bodied profile. Aged in Oloroso barrels imported from Jerez, Spain bring together much of the complex character to this BLENDED MALT SCOTCH WHISKY. THIRD BARREL: PEDRO XIMINEZ OAK The SCOTCH MALT is further transferred from OLOROSO SHERRY BARRELS and finished in PEDRO XIMINEZ SHERRY CASKS for an additional year in NEPAL which imparts sherry sweetness and a raisin overtone.
