Fermented with 100% whole bunches, it’s a Syrah specialist’s take on the variety, with layers of plum and blackberry, subtle oak and lots of garrigue and grip. 2025-304 ½ Stars 2025 Platter’s South African Wine Guide Powerful, with lashings of black fruit, yet balanced by an acid lift & savoury undertone, 23 (91 pts) bunch fermented in open vat for soft extraction, year in 600L foudre. Lingering dry finish shows an intriguing lavender delicacy.
