These lightly toasted unhulled black sesame seeds have a fresh aroma and a sweet, nutty flavour that is a little more robust than white sesame. How To Use: Use these nutty little seeds on savoury bakes and gratins or to crumb patties, tempeh, fish, and meat. Add some to homemade muesli bars, crackers, cookies, muffins and bread mixes. Blend your own za’atar using equal quantities of sesame seeds, dried thyme, oregano, marjoram and sumac and a small amount of salt. Adjust to your taste. Serve with bread and olive oil for dipping or sprinkle over hummus. Grind them to make fresh organic black tahini, a paste with a unique, vivid black lustre.
