Bunch pressing & no malo add to vitality.92 pts Vinous Aug 2025 The 2024 Chenin Blanc comes from a single parcel in Polkadraai planted in 1995, whole bunch pressed with malo stopped to increase freshness, matured in used 225 litre French oak barrels on the gross lees for nine months. It has a light and brisk nose, touches of orchard fruit and crushed stone. The palate is well balanced, very crisp, fine weight with a waxy texture that is very attractive, a hint of stem ginger towards the finish. Lovely.
